How To Subscribe

Apple iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod) Calendar

To Subscribe

  1. Open this page on your iPhone browser (so copying the link below is easier)
  2. On your home screen tap the ‘Settings’
  3. Select ‘Calendar’
  4. Select ‘Add Account’ and select Other
  5. Select ‘Other’
  6. Select ‘Add Subscribed Calendar’ option at the bottom of the list
  7. Paste the URL: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/nyckinklink%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics and click ‘Next’
  8. Change any settings you see fit before saving the calendar. No username or password needed

Make changes to your subscription or unsubscribe

  1. Toggle your view of the subscribed calendar by opening the Calendar app
  2. Tap Calendars in the bottom center
  3. Tap a calendar name to either display or hide calendar events
  4. Tap a the (i) next to the calendar name to rename the calendar subscription, change the color, disable alerts or unsubscribe through deleting the calendar

To Unsubscribe

  1. Toggle your view of the subscribed calendar by opening the Calendar app
  2. Tap Calendars in the bottom center
  3. Tap a the (i) next to the calendar name
  4. Tap ‘Delete Calendar’

Google Calendar

To Subscribe

  1. Open google calendar https://calendar.google.com
  2. On the left sidebar, click the ‘+’ icon next to Other calendars
  3. Click ‘From URL’
  4. Paste in:  https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/nyckinklink%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics

Make changes to your subscription

  1. Open google calendar https://calendar.google.com
  2. Hover over the name of the calendar ‘NYC Kink Link Events Calendar and click the three vertical dots
  3. Click ‘Settings’
  4. Here you can configure notifications, customize the name of the calendar, etc…

To Unsubscribe

  1. Open google calendar https://calendar.google.com
  2. Hover over ‘NYC Kink Link Events Calendar’ and click the ‘X’

Android / Google Calendar

To Subscribe

  1. Setup the Google account assigned to your Android device.
  2. Log into the Google website using the account assigned to your Android device, then from top-menu click ‘More Calendars’
  3. Follow the instructions at Google Calendar to subscribe to the calendar feed and paste in: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/nyckinklink%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
  4. You will see the calendar subscription appear under ‘Other Calendars’
  5. Confirm that the subscription is working by verifying that events are appearing in the calendar grid.

Configure your Android device to sync to your Google calendar.

  1. Go into your device’s Calendar app, in the settings make sure “NYC Kink Link Events Calendar” is checked, then select ‘Sync Now’
  2. Select the Google account calendar, then under ‘Other Calendars’ check the “NYC Kink Link Events Calendar” subscribed calendar.

To Unsubscribe

  1. Select the Google account calendar, then under ‘Other Calendars’
  2. Un-check the “NYC Kink Link Events Calendar” subscribed calendar
